Jeannette Martens: co-organizer of the Hearth kitchen.
I am passionate about food, community, and the future of our sacred mother Earth. Creating nourishing meals through events like this one keeps me connected to our greater tribe. I have a background in Holistic and Plant Based Nutrition. I currently teach Healthy Meals at the domestic violence shelter in Port Townsend, WA where I live, and cater local events. I also work as a landscaper, weaving beauty, food and medicine together as I play with nature. I love all things nature, foraging wild foods, tending all kinds of plant friends, rock climbing, rowing, singing, dancing and advocating for a healthy vibrant life and planet.
