Land Ethics

“Nothing short of a life-long love affair with this Earth, with the nook of the world we call our home and the people with whom we share it, will produce a culture that can be, and is indeed worth being, sustained.” –Lindsay Hagamen,

DSCN8571As EcoSexuals, our regard for the land, our lover, is very high. Even with the most respectful practices, a few hundred people camping for a weekend can have a substantial impact on forest ecology.

Our respect for this forest in particular and for natural resources in general greatly informs all aspects of the annual EcoSex Convergence.

We ask all participants to manifest their love for the Earth and try to minimize negative impacts on the land by following Leave No Trace guidelines.

  • Minimize Campfire Impacts
  • Leave What You Find
  • Dispose of Waste Properly
  • Travel and Camp on Durable Surface
  • Plan Ahead and Prepare
  • Respect Wildlife
  • Be Considerate of Other Visitors
